Group Therapy

Working towards change together

At a Glance

What Is Group Therapy?

In a therapist-led group, you can work on your own concerns while benefiting from the experiences of others. Sharing perspectives can offer new insights and opportunities to try out different behaviours in a supportive, confidential setting.

Who Can Benefit from Group Therapy?

Group therapy can be particularly valuable when difficulties in relationships, distressing emotions, or recurring patterns of behaviour are involved. We will discuss individually beforehand whether the available group is suitable for your concerns.

How Do Group Sessions Work?

I lead the group, which currently consists of three to nine participants. Each session lasts 100 minutes. At the outset, we discuss your expectations and the ground rules, particularly confidentiality and respectful interaction.

Group or Individual Therapy?

The most suitable form of treatment depends on your symptoms and goals. In some cases, a combination of individual and group sessions may also be helpful. We will discuss the options together.

Costs and Insurance

Psychotherapy fees are calculated in accordance with the applicable fee schedules. More information: Costs.
